These can be activated in a couple of different ways, partly via the TaHoma by Somfy app or with your voice if you linked your device to a voice control service such as Google Home or Amazon Alexa. In addition, there is a possibility to easily activate scenes, rooms or individual devices directly on your TaHoma switch. At the top of your device are three buttons, two that can be programmed to start selected scenes, rooms or devices, and a button to stop a scene in progress. To configure the two buttons, open the "TaHoma by Somfy" app, select the three dots (...) in the lower right corner, and then select "My Solution". Under the menu "Button settings", click on "Configuration of the buttons" and then choose which button to configure. In subsequent steps, you choose what will happen when you press the dedicated button. In this case, we choose to close the blinds in the office. You can also choose to only light up single devices, choose something from your favorites or create a manual scene. Here we select the room "Office" to control the blind. Choose whether everything should be turned on or off and which light sources in the room to include. You can also add other devices if desired. Confirm your selections at the bottom of the page with the yellow "I have selected all my devices" button. Then repeat the same for the other button. Somfy TaHoma Scenario Player Another smart way to be able to activate your different programmed scenes is to use a wall switch for this. TaHoma Scenario Player from Somfy has two programmable touch buttons that are used in the same way as above with the exception that only scenes can be programmed here. Put one next to the bed to easily turn off all the lights when you go to sleep and why not put one at the front door so everything can be closed when you leave home? The Scenario Player is easy to install and requires no wiring, making it child's play to install in your smart home. Find out more Categories Tips for your home Disqus is inactive
